Hi all, <?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><o> </o> Am I right in saying that the whipsaws only occur before the news is officially released, or does it happen after? <o> </o><o> </o> Regards ...

It doesn't seem to!. I've been looking everywhere for it, including the indicators catalogue, but no sign!! If anyone knows of its whereabouts, would appreciate a link to it. Regards DS

Guys, Could someone please confirm that I have got the Bagovino method set up correctly, I'm confused with all the changing info in this thread! My setup is: 5 and 12 EMA's (should that be WMA's?) on 1 hour chart Vegas 1 hour tunnel for fibs to help ...

The thing with Capital is they also double their spreads overnight!!!! But I would say they are good with trading the news, they're the only Spreadbetting company that let me place an order at the start on NFP day, twice, maybe I’ve just been lucky ...

Yes, I always only trade the one way or the other. The downward spike moved the 80 odd pips in about 10-20 seconds, so you need to try and get in during this time, the full move for the additional 20 pips or so lasted a bit longer! That's why its so ...

To be honest, I wouldn't even try straddling a news release, you'll lose everytime!! I always trade the news manually, sitting in front of the PC, monitoring the chart for the pair. Make sure you have a clock onscreen that is accurate to the second, ...

I'm confused here!! Has this method been superceded by the 'Bagovino method' or is this a totally separate method? Only reason I'm asking is that someone had posted that the Sidus method was superceded by the Bagovino method, but can't locate the ...

Hi all, This Bago method seems to work really well :-) I've downloaded an alert to give me an audible warning when the EMA's cross, but for some reason the alert comes up too late, one hour too late. My server time is one hour ahead which is ...

Hi all, I'm new to this thread but it looks really good, especially the spreadsheet for trading the news, it will be a great help, nice work guys One question tho, in the notes column about the whipsaws, does that mean that initially it can ...

I thought Betonmarkets were a Fixed Odds betting company, correct me if I'm wrong!! I still have an account with them from my Fixed Odds betting days, before I discovered Forex SB and I had no problems with them at all. Regards DS

Hi Eyevoltage, I had a look at e-trade, their spreads seem a bit large, EUR/USD and GBP/USD 6 pips, personally I would be looking for 2-3 pips spread for those two pairs. To be honest their order fill time of 3-6 seconds is the same as Capital, ...

I've just downloaded the PDF so will give it a try. Just a thought here but has anyone tried it using AMA, they seem to be a bit faster in responding to changes? Does anyone else here use spread betting platforms? Looks very good so far from what ...
