Interesting, I’m unfamiliar with your E/J strategy, but I also have a breakout strategy on EJ using the 22:00-2:00 range. Yields an EV of 0.68 and is purely mechanical. what do you mean when you say it fails? Dyou have an example?

When you say R:R = 1:2 do you mean that the target is the same, but you use set a stop such that you yield 2R? Therefore, you do not use a stop equal to the other side of the range?

How are people getting on with this? I have found that a 1R target from the close of the breakout candle (SL other side of the range) yield higher results. Targeting 4R when the range is less than 15 and not taking trades when the range is greater ...
