If non-farm payrolls and the unemployment rate don't crush EUR/USD tomorrow despite being positive and above expectation like pretty much every other salient piece of US economic data, then there is no sanity in the world.

While what you say is probably true most of the time, if tomorrow the headlines were to say that Greece made a sudden exit as an example, I doubt this interpretation of yours would hold up. The likelihood of a news item/fundamental's lasting impact ...
