it was a valid trade. just a super expensive one (41 pips from entry to SL). doesn't need a rocket scientist. but if shirakawa was speaking, hell! even i would jump on board!

i was in 3. but then M15 turned red right smack in the middle! waited for the retracement and closed with a +7 nett for all 3

she won't respond to things answered already / you can do for yourself even if you send her sundae. the M15 stoch is Stoch-MTF by Xaphod. @yelena: that could have been 158 pips by now. this time i'm exiting

EJ is a bit sentiment -driven. although BOJ wants YEN weaken (hence, their QE), Japan is "in silent financial war" with China. Japan offered to pay China to relieve it's rights over the disputed islands and China did not accept. when BOJ announced ...

today's — when fxpivots narrowed from previous trading day, SMA60 is really handy... from my opinion.... and the other chart shows the HIN trading results. nothing is considered except genesis fresh signal 30 mins before/after HIN ...

oh! did i just say that that stoch indi of yours is perfect?

i really love this! — Stoch-MTF: MTF Stochastic with linear interpolation between bars on the higher time-frames. thank you Xaphod. it makes M15 overlay so easy to read and judge. and when the matrix sends an opposite signal to continue the ...

bless you my man! friday's breakouts on ATRs across the board has caused the fxpivots to be larger than frIday's. we will really likely to range today unless some earth-shaking news comes out. i'm preserving my capital and will resume trading ...

its already 213 with me. and if EJ hits R4 then it will likely just range on Monday. 103 as target then, wow another pair hitting R4 in a span of 7 days. always kelly on your mind. maybe i should quit on you it's a long shot anyway

handling whipsaw during HIN — the FOMC was executed in live account while the GCC (first time to encounter) was in demo. i always do this set up esp if i'm expecting a whipsaw and like Yelena, i disregard everything except the genesis signal ...

CADJPY maybe able to provide a decent retracement and cheap too. but keep an eye on EU. for scheduled news, dust-settling is 20-30 mins after the news release. PA will, if not often, go back 15-20pips from pre-news price. in case of whipsaw switch ...

[quote=Pattie;6008503]So yes I am now very good at waiting, but there is a fine line between waiting patiently for the correct opportunity and not pulling the trigger and missing the entry. but Genesis is showing me the way now and giving me ...

nope, i am 13 hours behind EST. London open is 4pm for me. but 215pm EST is 315am.... cat nap i will see if the 1230 FOMC statement is tradeable (usually not) however, the circumstances are slightly different. pls don't whipsaw Mr PA!~~~~
- minako replied Sep 13, 2012
maybe its better to wait for FOMC itself.. 1230pm EST, just 6 hours form now. still flat. but they divided FOMC to 1230 and 215... tsk tsk... this will probably whipsaw. @215 we can watch the FOMC statement live (to QE or not to QE, that is the ...

double your demo account (without overexposing) before going live. for me it is the only threshold for graduation. although we can cheat and lie most of our lives in almost everything, unfortunately in FX, if you cheat yourself out of demo then you ...
