Hi :-) — Hi everyone. First time poster on this thread. Now, don't get mad, but I really need to ask this question. Since this system was evolving there are probably posts that are now obsolete, right? What would be your recommendation, where ...

Skyline, if there will be next version, would you please add something like this for comment: extern string EAComment; string EA_Comment=""; { EA_Comment = EAComment + " Skyline"; } { Ticket=OrderSend(Symbol().......,EA_Comment,.........); } (this ...

Yes I've wrote already about this. Trailing stop is no good with this SAR method. Why? Because best days are those with nice big move in one direction. But even nice big move in one direction has temporally pullbacks. Trailing stop will cause, that ...

Since I'm trading mini lots, I set Lot=0.1 Because of this EA didn't place orders. There was Error: 131 Invalid Trade Volume I changed Lot=1 and now is OK. I keept TradeVolumeFactor at 0.1 and EA is placing mini orders, so all is OK, I'm just ...

Fuki, two quickies: 1 - thank you for your sharing! 2 - If memory serves me well, you said for some earlier EA version, to set Use_BATATR_Indicator to False. Is this still valid or should be now set to True? Thank you, Mario

I'm using EA as most of the time I will not be able to watch the market. I'm trying both ways :-) One EA with TP=100 and another without. So I actually averaged today 245. This is live account (but micro lol) On demo account I placed 5 EA's with ...

Skyline, don't get mad, but I was wrong about trailing stop and exit break even at xy pips. I forgot, this is SAR system. So when you get stopped out with trailing stop on some pullback, you automatically enter in opposite direction since this is ...

Skyline, cool, great and thank you!

I don't want. Looks like, my lack of English caused misunderstanding. I don't want EA to stop trading after TP is hit, but Rhytm I was testing did stop trading for a whole week. Agree, sorry for confuzion.
- alamanjani replied Feb 28, 2007
If is not true, then I owe you an apology. If you made EA for free, as you wrote in previous msg, then I owe you even a bigger apology. So, I'm sorry! When I tried Rhytm, it stopped after TP was hit and didn't place orders for the rest of the week. ...

Skyline's EA is great! It follow Tkimble's rules. With: - trailing stop and - 'set break even after so many pips in the profit' ...would be perfect, since you could try and set many different combinations based on the market condition. But these ...

Some cosmetic changes — For Skyline, CEO or anyone, who can code. I added comment as input option, as I once asked Skyline. This doesn't change rules and strategy, but makes an EA (and comparing) much friendlier. See picture. Here are changes ...

Not stupid at all, but then you get different sistem Sibkis breakout system uses (if I remember correct) 24 hr wait, before they place the order. PipRage posted his modification a while back. He waits 18 hr and then he straddle hi/lo of first 18 ...

It may be because of 25% modeling quality... Again, forward testing should give us better answers. Mario

Are you takling about direction of initial entries? If so, looks like you are not right. (see bellow) Are you talking about one or two hours delay based on different broker's data? Again, looks like method works so far. Explanation.: We (different ...
- alamanjani replied Feb 17, 2007
Good to know, thank you! This is what I was hopping for. It is necessary that there is not much of a difference if we want this method to be profitable. Why? Since different brokers are using different opening hours, daily candles are different for ...
- alamanjani replied Feb 17, 2007
Again, all what is important right now is: does EA places the same orders as manual method? If yes, EA works as should, regardless of loss/profit generated. So next few weeks of forward testing will give us answer. Use EA and trade manually and ...

Yes, you are right, makes sense. And thank you for working on weekly version. May I ask something for weekly version, that have nothing to do with funcionality and rules, but only one small cosmetic addition. Can you please add option, that we can ...
