In the "real world" I want Kiwi to plummet out of the sky. Earning sterling and want to send it home but not at a miserable 2 -1! In this world I want the same so I keep buying long

With news out of US and Europe I'm more inclined to think it will nudge up to 1.025. Where else is safe at the moment for real money to go? Think we will see 1.04/1.05 before we see 0.97/0.975. Then again maybe I'm just convincing myself of that ...

Thanks Marv, hadn't seen that market depth chart before will be sure to keep watching it now.

Not making any excuses. From what I can see FxPro doesn't discriminate against scalpers or EAs. It looks to me like they are increasingly trying to target high volume traders??

No of course not, its getting better though and with their cash rebates its working out more like 1.2 / 1.3 for me at the moment.
- NZKiwitrader replied May 4, 2012
Why shouldn't we look for the best spreads available? It's not the difference between success or failure but why pay anymore to a broker than you have to - especially when EAs or scalpers are such a big part of the market. FxPro EUR/USD currently 1.7 ...

Agree they are good (used to use them) but FxPro is offering unlimited cash rebates now up to 0.8pips. Better spreads than Oanda last time I looked?

Hi, I'm reluctant to give anyone advice but thought you might like some feedback on FxPro the broker I use. They offer MT4 (1:500 leverage) and cTrader ECN (1:100). I prefer the ECN which is pretty good and pays rebates. As for regulation they are ...

I don't write that very well. I meant even it it varies it should always be close to 1! Will have a closer look during US hours.
- NZKiwitrader replied Feb 16, 2012
Thanks, yes I agree not sure how big the variations depending on different times of day but obviously 1.6 is far too much, but when getting closer to 1 its good. I'm more interested in NZD pairings but will try to report back in a couple of weeks on ...

That's what I've been seeing as well and am happy with, assuming a 0.4 to 0.8 pip rebate it starts to look very good. Something to watch though
- NZKiwitrader replied Feb 16, 2012
why do you still use them then?

posted on another thread but keen for as much intel as possible. Just got a message from FxPro announcing a rebate programme for ECN did anyone else? Link below. Can they actually offer what they say on the tin? If spreads stay the same what's ...

Rebates? — I just got a message from FxPro announcing a rebate programme for ECN did anyone else? Link below. Can they actually offer what they say on the tin? If spreads stay the same what's catch? What do competitors offer? url

no not that i've seen
- NZKiwitrader replied Feb 1, 2012
thanks that's good to know. Do you use the ECN?
- NZKiwitrader replied Jan 31, 2012
Not saying you are and appreciate the intel. Will definitely take a look at them and try the demo out for a couple of weeks then a small live account before reporting back on how it compares to FxPro. I've never tried FxPro's MT4 but so far (only a ...

Thanks I will have a look at their demos although I've very sceptical of such glowing praises on another brokers thread. I've been reading a fair bit of negative press on Currenex recently (need to check the other forums) and there are definitely ...

After a couple of years with Alpari (who were ok) I've switched over to FxPro to try out their cTrader ECN..had enough of MMs! The spreads and liquidity are ok but I only trade Kiwi against pound, euro and dollar so know what to expect with bad ...
