The keyboard shortcuts to change time frame that are present in the web application are very useful. Can these be put in the main application? Also not sure why the quick order settings (the ones under the quick trade buttons that put a SL and TP in ...

Actually I hadn't realised that this functionality was there. Having taken a look at it now it does work quite well. Okay you do have to open the order panel to adjust the lot size, but I like the way the Sl and TP lines appear at the same time as ...

Another thing that would be nice is to stop ctrader opening browser tabs automatically. It does this at time and the browser then opens in front of ctrader when I am trying to work on it. At least enable me to turn it off somewhere. Examples of when ...

Exactly that yes. I think the easiest way to implement it would be that when you open the New Pending Order window there is a line on the chart within the order window that corresponds to the price of the order. This could then be dragged and the ...

Thanks for the reply cTrader. As regards already having the ability to enter orders via drag-able lines on the chart. Unless I'm missing something I don't think you have. Once an order has been entered you are able to move the pending order line on ...

+2 on this. Also would be nice to be able to change the time frame of all charts in the current work-space at the same time. So perhaps if you are in multi-chart mode the time frame of all charts changes, but if you are in single chart mode only the ...

Thanks as well Patapouer. It would seem that people have rules to the thought process they go through when taking trades to make sure they are being disciplined, rather than just strict inflexible rules regarding the entry and exit. I think this ...

Hi all, I’ve have a query about written rules, and how traders using the methods discussed in this thread utilise them. Generally in every trading book it states that you need to have written rules and then you need to make sure you follow these ...

audjpy — Also could we now trade audjpy short as it has now closed under the BRN. Looks like we had a retest today and a possible continuation pin.

eurgbp — Is there a possible setup developing on eurgbp? looks like it could retrace to 0.8. Would you call this a 3 bar pin?

OK, I'll try not to obliterate it with my machine gun in the mean time!

Thanks very much for this Mike, much appreciated I am trying at the moment to keep it simple and stick to the basics. (although maybe not succeeding...) I was/am aware that the support may be becoming resistance, just trying to get feedback from ...
