I spoke to a friend who is a lawyer, and said that appeals are usually on procedural grounds... and appeal court rarely relook at a case if a judge has reasonably ruled. This judge seems to explain his ruling very well with various "tests"... ...

Reading and talking to Lillian, because Creditors only get 30% right now, and the rest later on as they seek more funds from Mr. Gray (which he has dispersed to various shell companies)... We're really only $2-3million short here. Good thing FXAsia ...

Creditors only get 30% for now, and the rest as Mr. Gray must be ordered to return the rest of the money... I can't believe FX asia had a claim up to 2 to 45 millions... i'm surprised no creditors objected in this process yet.

This sucks... Trip - isn't there anything we can do... it's stuck with the receiver, so basically, anyone can try to block the distribution with enough claim to the money. There has to be a time limit to this b.s.

I spoke to her last week, and it appears that the recommendation is to return 100% of customer funds... of course it's up to the court to approve this motion. only 20 days to go... hopefully we see something earlier.

What did they mean by "interim" distribution? Are we talking about a partial distribution to be motion end of May? It's nice that they found more money though, helps though.

What is this interim distribution they are referring to? Are they going to petition the court in 60 days May 30,2 2008 - but court may take another period to decide and excute?

Sounds like Robert Gray might have shell companies laying claim on the assets. Who knows, he might may "shell" companies being part of the "vendor claim" and being part of the IB laying additional claims. From these numbers already, we'll see less ...

Yep, got a hold of her too. Looks like 60-90 days answer again... not sure if it's 60-90 days after this IB claim are resolved... Why don't they just all go to court to settle things in one shot. It's been 5 months already
