AUD/NZD — smathew do you use synergy candles? The stop that you put in at 1.2850 would still be 20 pips or so above the low (wick) of the 31/1 candle which reached down to about 1.2830. Also the tdi is already down near the 32 level. EUR/JPY ...

So in that last chart, if that second last candle (which you put the stop below) had have had a solid body, would you have entered on it? I was also wondering if you change your TP's or SL when counter trend trading? I find myself getting stung ...

To the guys who are using ATR to define their exists: Are you guys still exiting when the TDI goes flat or hooks back? Or are you *mostly* sticking to your TP and SL's you set with ATR to define your exists? I find myself exiting early often when ...

Awesome reply, really appreciate it. It's always very reassuring when someone posts their actual results too. Fractals are something I know nothing about, how much do you think they affect the outcomes of your trades with this method. If you didn't ...

Well everything turned against me, too keen to get into the market. I had a bad feeling after I entered those trades that the new york session would turn against me and it did Britpip: Do you leave your H4 trades open through the NY session? I ...

So would it be fair to say then any good TMS entry between after the vertical lines should be taken on this method? (assuming its not right before the NY open) Given that you need to close before the NY vertical line, obviously the best trades to ...

I don't think the negativity is warranted, X-Man has posted lots of useful posts in the TMS thread and has the endorsement of many veterans. X-Man: While I don't think that trade you just posted followed your rules earlier in the thread, I am hardly ...

My H4 candle formed 15 minutes ago, here are the trades I took. Long eur/usd, aud/usd. Short usd/chf. Could have taken gbp/usd aswell but wanted to avoid over exposure. Most of the TDI's crosses were cause by the large gap this morning in the asian ...

According to the rules that you posted in post one, I never would have taken the long trade you got your 50 pips on. So does the situation that just happen add a new rule to the system? I'm not criticizing you in any way, just trying understand this ...

Lol excitement got the better of you I'm very interested in your method since you are pulling in so many pips on a monthly basis, but I think the trade you just took is not part of your rules at all, maybe more of an experience or intuition trade. ...

Your waiting for the HA candle to touch the vertical line, not another vertical line to intersect it.

What made you decide to take the short in the first place? Looking at my chart the first red candle is very small and when the second closed it was pretty much a pin bar shape? Did you enter without waiting for the candles to close?

Hi Antantnz, the reason for using non US hours was because of what eelfranz said toward the start of this thread, about not trading the US hours. Note that that was just a permutation, I tested both with and without that exclusion. Completely agree ...

Sure, I have results that are up to 80% accurate but have a very low occurrence and therefore aren't as profitable. The most profitable result is only 51% accurate from my back testing. How long have you been trading it? 1 year? 3 years? I'm not ...

I have been following this thread for a while and I have done some pretty thorough back testing on this strategy over the last few months and here are some results. Using 36 months of data and 1 hour time frame, this is a list of variations I ...
