Nice trades, well done!

Very well said 7. Its great to see that folks are able to demo trade the TMS strategy and demonstarte that it works, but implying that taking 8-10 trades is realistic, is reckless and misleading to new traders. 800 pips a week on a demo account does ...

I'm not sure why but your TDI plot is quite different to mine. There was no cross (green over red) on my chart, and if anything it looked like a bounce trade might have been forming. I use Ninja but my charts/TDI have always aligned with BigEs or ...

The7 I was also looking at the AUDUSD 4HR, but the problem I see is that it is a trade out of an area of consolidation. How do you read it?

Geo No, I use the lower timeframe to help me get a better entry. This is how I personally check on the price action at the time I am considering a trade. For example; if I consider taking a 4 hr short, such as the AUDUSD at 2.00pm. I check the 15min ...

TDI for ninja — Have you saved into the correct folder: documents/ninjatrader7/bin/custom/indicator ? From there you should be able to view and add it from the 'Indicators' box in your charts. If you are still having problems, you can PM me.

The7 A very good point. Identifying a ranging market and acting accordingly can have a huge impact on your P&L. I've back tested with this strategy for all of the major pairs, for different time frames and over different periods and the results ...

[quote=xp3000;4718878]Gents, As I'm learning this system and great thanks to Big E, one line that keeps popping up is news, many people say dont trade when there is big news etc.. XP3000 At a minimum, you need to be aware of the big news events. How ...

This is not the place.. — Folks Alot of time and effort, and especially from Big E, has been put into developing and delivering the TMS system in a simplified manner , so that we can all learn from it and incorporate it into our trading ...

Dave Using a very similiar approach. I'm trying to use the lower TF to identify momentum so as to minimise the drawdown, especially just after entry. The difficulty is then trying to get in at the right place without missing the move. Getting out at ...

Spot on. The market is in flux with the euro debacle. Tonights parliament meeting should help. A day for sitting on hands!

candle closed — Hi Mackaozy I always wait for the candle to close after the cross. Otherwise, there are too many fakeouts; crosses that look good but then PA pulls back before the candle closes and essentially there is no cross. Its certainly ...
