Me too. Looking for 3350 kb?

Bounced at the pivot and rests above Monday's high. Could mean nothing...

Not looking so hot for my 9300+ for this week. Can't remember who said it but if 9300 was going to be properly taken it would have slammed through earlier in the week. Whoever it was anyway was right. Another disappointing Friday for me. I agree ...

True. And it's at the top of that H4 downward channel. Let's see...

This is probably the last chance I'll give it to do that... If it breaks back below 9220-9200 I'll start looking for the 9000 area again.

Well, I think it bounces in this 9230-40 zone and shoots up through 9300 for 9400 next week. I could be horribly wrong though.

I see where you're coming from on aussie - but I suspect usdjpy would be the victim of China weakness. Which might imply a lift in audusd... I don't trade fundamentals but that's my take on it.

If it can break 9235 I'd feel more comfortable about my long

I agree. 200 not properly broken yet. Could see this back up at 300 later on. If you were selling this you'd want to sell from higher than here in any case.

I'm looking forward to those 'high volume American shorts' at 9280 being smashed.

True that Tomersror - the market is made up of buyers and sellers, we're not all short or long from the same place. Monkeys like hunterboy are what make FF a burial ground for reasoned analysis. Personally I'm long from 9080 so not too perturbed by ...

Broker volumes are misleading for that very reason - they're only a fraction of the entire market.

What does that even mean...? Sounds a bit like a contrarian indicator to me...

True - better profits generally too. The problem with dustbins, as with all short term trades, is that the spread eats into your returns.

Ektom - sounds like a similar path to mine... Out of interest, what are your thoughts on 3 down, 1 up, 4 down, 2 up etc? I trade dustbins with some success but find it difficult to fix on a rule of thumb where those kind of rhythms are concerned. ...

Hey KB - do you use dustbins on EU only? EJ has larger ranges that you can catch but it seems less well behaved to me. What about GU?

Hey Slam, what's your number on EURAUD now? Just keeps going higher...

Oh well, at least you're honest! As it is, watching how it played out kind of answered my own question anyway.

Thanks If.... but your reply leads me to another question - how do you go about identifying important zones? For example today on EURUSD - I could see a zone developed at the lows so went long from 12854 and then held ontill 12900. But I saw 12900 ...

Great thread - simple is best, so much clearer to look at zones rather than indicator-clutter. Quick question for If... what's your take on inside bars? Seems to me that price often returns to a point of indecision that appears as an inside bar on ...
