As I too got called on what seems to be a semantic infraction, I wanted to reiterate what bkg’s response was to the same issue. As we are studying price action, we identify strategic areas of S/R on all TF’s and it should come as no surprise when ...

While I agree 100%, my longs are closed and I'm sitting on the sidelines right now as believe that it needs to correct and retest support before going further. I'm not feeling froggy enough to do a counter trend trade at this time. The 1.4500 was a ...

It does appear to be thrashing a bit right now. Looks like it took a big bite and then needed to chew on it a bit before taking another. Waiting to see if this next M15 stays above 4300. . . Then with a close above the 4320 area, I'd pull the ...

EU support — If I'm looking at this right, I'm seeing a good level of possible support in the "area" of 4265 which also happens to be the daily "S3" for those that use pivots.

One trader I studied under some time ago used the analogy of an athlete in that a football or baseball player spends more time in practice than the big game. With that he was an advocate of practice trading more than real trading to keep your live ...

I'm with you being short the EU based on the chart I posted earlier. Now having said that, as I've been looking at HTF charts, I was hoping for a good move south to the 4020 area and with that I've been stopped out twice at +3 after each had been up ...

As an added note: I have started placing white lines at all the XX00 levels so they don't sneak up on me. Obviously, these tend to be very crucial areas.

Short the EU — I went short on the EU and the thought process was as follows: The 15M painted and engulfing bear candle (highlighted in blue) which got my attention, but it was still very close to coming down into the 4100 level and I won't ...

My GU H4 looks different as well but I belive that it says the same thing. I've got a DBLHC and a support level of PPA to go along with it. Would this not give the same info in a different way?

Technically I guess it's more like a doji right now . . .

GU pin on daliy — Looks like we have a pin forming on the GU daily. Naturally it's not done painting yet but a pin it is now. At a strong area of PPA as well. . .

Trying to get better at posting charts. . .

Could we be looking at a DBLHC on the EU 15M?

I wasn't at the pc either as I have the "job" to contend with. . . but is see our next PPA/resistance on this off the H4 around 4245 if it can bust through the 4200 to 4220 area.

And taking a look at the H4, there is a good bounce off of the 50ema which also coincides with the weekly pivot and that would take it back long.

Friday also tends to be the time for "squaring up" which has a tendency to instigate counter trend moves from what I've seen. The au is also in the fade zone.

I'm showing that right at S2.

I've read, heard, and seen that the .xx80 .xx20 are strategic areas as well and I would guess that this is due to their defining the fade trading zone. The red line on your chart sure confirms that the .xx80 is an important area. Then it seems that ...

Thanks for the feed back Ken. I believe that I'm focusing all my attention on Chart patterns and PPA and not paying enough attention to the MA's It's all about balancing the available information and how to use each piece of the puzzle to see the ...

Exit Criteria — In my efforts to stay in trades longer than the 20 - 30 pip habit, it seems that the exit criteria still eludes me more often than not. I'll take half off at 20 - 30 and cover the remaining and let it run only to see it stopped ...
