These were a nice couple entries for me (AUD/USD) yesterday and tonight (1st part 10 pips/ 2nd part 20 pips / 3rd part BE/floating):

No entries on E/U or G/U for me today. They had both gone too far when I got on the computer. I tried one entry on U/J, but it didn't go anywhere so I bailed at BE. I see it is setting up again, but as I don't know this pair too well and it looks ...

Yes, that was a good entry on E/U. I also entered a bit early in anticipation of a drop from the RN after a very quiet European session. I've taken 2/4 at 16 pips, 1/4 at 39 and 1/4 is still floating.

I don't know how to solve your platform issue robuk, but if everything else fails - you can always use a Linear Weighted Moving Average of 84 applied to close. All the dots do is show you when it goes from a negative to a positive slope. For all you ...

I got the EU as well. Also had the SL a couple pips under the RN. I didn't move SL when I was in profit by 10-12 pips as I felt the RN provided some support for it to take off some more. Bailed for 25 pips - should have left half to run I see....

Thanks Kraven, appreciate your help with the chart!

For the sake of learning: Kraven, how would you have traded this? H4 trend is long. Have I got the entry and SL points right? The way I understand it, there might be one BE, one loss and one no entry because of too long candle (for the time of day - ...

Thanks Kraven for sharing your system. I have been following it with interest from when you first posted it. I have been waiting for a ranging period to see what it would do, so thanks for addressing that now that we were in one. It would be great ...

Commercial system — This sure looks like the commercial system called the "Black Dog" system, right down to the creators colour scheme for the template (except the colour of the 50's channel).

Thanks for sharing your system Roundrock. If both orders get stopped out, do you wait until next day to place new ones, or do you continue placing until 9:00 AM GMT?

Thank you mer071898 for taking the time to answer my question and giving some good advice. Very well explained and seems like a sensible approach to a Martingale system. What I particularly like with your system is that it is so mechanical.

Pairs traded and risk — Thank you mer071898 for sharing with us an easy to understand and very interesting system. I was just wondering how you find the risk of trading 5 pairs with martingale method? Isn't there a risk of them all getting ...

Nice entry Tony, but SL couldn't have been 3? spread was still around 8 at that time?

Ah! you're a genius! Thanks - it works! Now, can you also solve our alarm problem? ;-)
- Jostein replied Dec 20, 2009
My chart looks about the same as yours. I don't think there is anything wrong - Carmen is just trying to keep us out of trouble.

Hello aicccia, The alarm doesn't seem to go off anymore, but it might have to do with that there is nothing going on on the chart anymore. We'll see how things are when markets open again on Sunday. The line thickness reverting back is still a ...

Thanks for the reply. Actually I am on version 4.0.1 and the resetting of the thickness still happens. I think I figured out when the alarm bug happens. I am on dial up (trading the 1M on dial-up - can you imagine?), so each time I log onto internet ...

Hello aicccia. When I open my Metatrader, sometimes the alarm goes off incessantly - sounds like a machine gun or something. This happens even if I have the alarm set to 'off'. I then close Metatrader and re-open and the alarm doesn't go off ...
