Yes, a thread which you started AND THEN ABANDONED. You haven't posted here for nearly 8 months, and the robot we have now is no where close to the one you started with. You have ZERO claim on the current robot. NONE. Being the thread starter does ...

misc filters — I'd like to hear back from anyone who's using the trend or volatility filters with the EA, and how they've enhanced your trades. Also, is anyone using the high/low watermarks? I'm not exactly sure how to use them, so any help ...

I'm glad to see my ideas are generating interest, so let me try explaining the method again and let's see where this goes. Bear with me please... First of all the method I am describing would only be used during a possible "death trade" scenario. I ...

Who's getting defensive? I'm calm as can be. You're reading wayyy too much into my replies. As for proving visually, I've tried, but the EA deletes ALL my trades the moment I take one out manually. Kinda hard to prove my point when it does that.

I've been running this EA non-stop for several days. I'm not a coder and I can't look inside the program to see how it's designed, but I see what it's doing on my charts. I like the EA and I like the system in general. But there seems to be a gross ...

@ Tradingviper — Tradingviper, I've discovered a bug you should know about. Your EA closes open trades without warning. As you can see from my latest postings I'm interested in closing out losing trades in order to let the winners run. (I'm ...

Sorry for the double post, but here are some more ideas: Say you have the EA set for 24 and 6. So it will run normally until it has ranged to the point of wanting to open 25 live trades. At trade number 25 (one over your setting of 24), the EA will ...

I'm not sure I understand your question. My method is to close out a live trade in heavy DD when another live trade is opened. Pending trades aren't considered in this method, just live ones. ~Only live trades are considered; ~Only one older trade ...

OK, let me phrase it another way. I'd like to see a note on the chart saying that the EA is not active, not just notes that say when it's programmed to start.

For the record I've read the entire thread. That said, I don't remember coming across this yet: Can anyone tell me when the EA stops looking to open a basket? I know when it starts, but I haven't seen anything about whrn or why it stops looking. One ...

I realize that my idea creates forced losses, but because the negative trades are getting closed out earlier than they would have been anyway wouldn't the losses be smaller than if left alone? If left alone it would have closed out at the end of the ...
