Hi MathTrader, I need a bit of help. I assumed that the list of Renko installation instructions in your post#1 was to be followed in sequence i.e. from steps 1-6 -see below:- image I progressed to to step 5 - so far ok, but then I saw that in step ...

Hi Peter, As you've been waiting quite a while for a reply, I thought I'd chip in. Put the 'files' in MQL4/files.... and the indicator in MQL4/Indicators. Then either restart your MT4 or, a quicker way, open Navigator and right click on the list of ...

Here is a WW where the pivots are below the 1-4 line. Price only gets as far as point 4. The location of the pivots could be a useful filter. image Evening all.....

Hi Everyone, Interesting thread...thanks. I put GBUS on strategy tester, with a floor trader pivot indicator (the magenta line is the central pivot). Price tends to test the prior day's pivot, so this may give you an idea of whether price has a ...

Hi Carl, Have you by any chance a similar cheat sheet as in post #1 but for GM series? Price seems to hit GM levels more 'accurately' than Waves. Thanks

HI Carl, Re your Cheat-sheet post #1, am I right in thinking that if wave 3 reaches W3b then comes down to test W4a, it will then go up to W4b? Presumably volume has a say in this i.e. if volume is high on the rebound from w4a this will propel price ...

Another last example, though on a smaller scale i.e. price peaked during the Asia range. image Price got to target#1 GM3a but was rejected. 23 pips profit..not bad for Asia range! It did eventually get to W2b by going around the houses first! On ...

Hi All, Something I have just noticed is that if you put the Russel fib on the last swing before end of day, you will see the direction for the coming day. Example below:- image Came within a gnat's hind leg of W2b! This is repeated at the last ...

Hi Carl, I've not paid much attention to the TDI...maybe I'll give it another look. Didn't mean to preach about divergence. It has its uses, especially if viewed on a higher time frame than on which trades are placed. Mind you, the very next low did ...

Hi Carl, I don't wish to rain on your parade, but one must be careful of using divergence to enter a trade, or give a trade legitimacy. The divergence at yesterday's bottom could have resulted in an 'unexpected' loss. But, congrats on your ...

I concur. Such a 'cheat sheet' would be useful to have at hand, instead of my fallible memory Mike

Am I correct in thinking that if price closes above e.g. W3a, with good volume, then it is likely to progress on to W3b. And if price closes likewise above w4a then it will progress to W4b....allowing for any pullbacks on the way......etc. etc.?

After price goes up through W3a and is supported at that level, what is the next target..... is it W3b? image

I use the Asia range (green area at start of each day) and if price does a fake-out first, I move the end of the fib up/down to include that in the projection; is that what you meant by where I project levels from? By doing that, I find that W2b ...

HI All, Another successful trade today GBPUSD M15. A bit late getting in though, but entered when price went above the two small double tops. As I was going out, I set TP just below W2b. Noting how strongly it closed above W3a I would have moved my ...

Hi all, Slowly getting the hang of Carl#s Russell Wave method. Was out today but saw this long trade on gbpusd when I got back, that could have been taken, with an exit bang on the W3a level. Then the reversal was worth 40+ pips. Volume is very ...
