They will correlate again but not enough to recover the gap created previously. If the EURGBP keeps moving down/up then your gap can never close to previous levels to allow that particular trades to show a positive profit. It all depends when you ...

Well done. However, it doesn't work when the carry trade starts to unwind or the correlation fails. When that happens then it will empty your account very fast if you don't have tight stops. Its been tried, failed, tried, failed over many years. If ...

Hi, Has anyone thought about...... 1. Only selling if a 5 day high is broken and the bot gives you a sell signal trade. 2. Only buying if a 5 day low is broken and the bot gives you a buy signal trade. It might help... Scoobs.

Hi, Do the MasterTP and MasterSL settings work ? Reason I ask is because a trade of mine was closed out at 130 pips and not 75 that I entered into the TP. There was no problems with my broker etc. I have included my .set file. Cheers Scoobs

Hi, Would be good if TP and SL were a percentage of AccountBalance. i.e. TP = 5% and SL = 1% Scoobs

Thanks So, will it close the basket if the total loss is >= 70 pips or only when each pairs loss is >= 10 pips ? Also, I am using a 5 digit broker, so do I set the pipsmultiplier = 10 ? Cheers Scoobs

Hi, This system will work very well in trending markets but during ranging markets then your probably going to lose allot of money. It maybe worth looking at only entering new trades when ADX > 25. You could probably use this as an exit strategy ...

As you can see from the screen shot the IXO were both GREEN around the time but the HAS wasn't BLUE when it sent a BUY trade. Cheers

I did post the screen shot. Notice the blue buy arrow around 7.15am. Very strange.
- scooby-doo replied Mar 3, 2014
Hi, I am currently in a SELL trade which is going nicely. But does anyone know why it previously took a BUY trade as looking at the HAS it wasn't BLUE at that time. Cheers PS. I attached the SET file as a ZIP.

There is a big difference between Georgia and Ukraine. NATO would not allow Ukraine to fall to the Russians.
- scooby-doo commented Mar 2, 2014
Russia turning the gas tap off would trigger armed conflict with NATO.
- scooby-doo commented Mar 2, 2014
Europe might do but USA doesn't. They didn't introduce WFO's when Russia invaded Georgia. I wouldn't want to be Russian living outside of Russia if they bring them in as ones bank account and assets would be frozen and/or seized.

Well, there is around $3.4 trillion of Russian money sitting in foreign bank accounts around the world. Looks like Mr Kerry is drawing up plans to seize/freeze it. o dear.

Baskets will tend to range when the London session ends and before Asian session starts. This is when allot of consolidation occurs. Might be worth having a new trade stop/start hour. Using HAS and IXO may not be enough to prevent entering trades ...
