now in this chart I have changed my window and number of bars and the slope isnt nearly as steep on the tdi on the far right

Ahh, I got confused on my own entry. Slope of tdi is a bit confusing to me, because it is dependent on the chart dimension and how many candles are on it. But I see what you are saying now.
