I think the question you are asking is why your trade closed out before it hit your stoploss right? If that is your question, the answer is probably that your demo was set with a small balance or lower leverage and you got was it called a Margin ...

If you haven't figured this out yet, you can send me a private message and I can probably write something for you if you give me an example of the tick data that you have and what you want to convert it to. Good luck!

I agree with everything you said, except for Oanda being cheaper. I think that is true for EUR/USD and maybe some others, but some pairs are cheaper at Hotspot. If EUR/USD was the only thing I was trading, I probably would have stayed with Oanda, ...

I have done a lot of market and limit orders and I have noticed that when I use limit orders that they rarely fill without the price hitting my limit orders, though there have been a small handfull of times where my limits are filled without that ...

All of my brokers have been Forex and precious metals only, but I would suggest Interactive Brokers if you want a great forex broker while also being able to trade stocks should you have one in mind that you want to buy. But like I said, I haven't ...

I've been trading live with them for a couple months now, and of all the brokers I have traded with the last three years, they are the best I have been with, especially their spreads and real market movements. They used to have their servers down ...

Yeah, that doesn't suprise me. I can see why brokers would hire people to do just that. That's why I tend to take what I hear with a grain of salt. Like whenever I hear about Crown Forex as a good broker, I have to think it is an employee there. By ...

Thanks for the feedback Ken. And it's nice to know that it hasn't happened to you either. I am more and more pleased with my decision to go with an ECN.

Have you had a trade busted before? If so, did they explain what the technical malfunction was? Thanks in advance.
- ECN brokers... Ever reverse trades?
I have been trading with Hotspotfx for nearly two months now, and I am happy with the change, but I ...

I think I may know your problem. I wired funds to open my account a month ago and the wire was not going through because though I had the correct ABA number, the bank was changing it to another number because they thought all wires to that bank were ...

Oanda is way better than IBFX (from personal experience with both and having visit IBFX's office in person); nevertheless, Oanda has been known to have issue with people being in trades for only a few seconds sighting that offenders use a faster ...

Wow.... I am such a retard sometimes!

Could you provide a link to where your quote comes from? I found it outrageous that a broker would admit to giving different prices to different clients!

You traded with InterbankFX? I did for about 2 months a couple years ago... Lousy broker! Oanda is a lot better than InterbankFX, but Hotspot is clearly better than both to me. No comparison really, so I agree with you on that. How long have you ...

I am still new with Hotspot FX Retail, but so far I am very happy with them! One down side is that their servers are down from 5:00pm to 5:20pm EST, but they told me they are working on making that only 1 minute. Execution has been great! ...

I have traded on and off with MIG for the past two years. On the positive side, I had no problem withdrawing my funds (much greater than I started with) so that is okay, though they requote all the time, unless the market moves against you, then it ...

I chose hotspot because I tested their demo and was very impressed with the low spreads and good volatility. However, I found out that the demo account often has smaller spreads than the live account for the exotics and crosses. They still seem ...

Interactive Brokers Live Accounts — I recently sent money to Hotspot to open an account, but I would really like to hear from someone who has an active account with IB that could tell me some of their prices that I might compare it to the live ...

I think you are refering to brokers like Crown Forex that are bucket shops. The low spreads most of us are talking about here are people going with ECNs in which case they have no concern about whether you are profitable or not, as they are not ...
