Michael G - Post # 2718 - "The second type is the breakouts we regularly see when trading this strategy. That is, where consecutive H1 candles, make new daily highs(TODAYS HIGH). As soon as price takes out the previous daily high, it is considered a ...

TooSlow, Please clarify the confusion. Referring to your post #2, following are the questions: 1. You chart shows H1 highs (marked with red arrows on the top of the bar) and H! lows (with blue arrows). They have to be intraday local highs/lows as ...

MichaelG - Lowest open but a new low in the same hour. So, we cannot pull the trigger in the same hour and we wait. Is the lowest open still valid because a new low was made? In the subsequent hour/hours, the lowest open of the day remains unchanged ...

xmess7 Thanks for your post. I understand in essence you are talking about the wick depending on up or down candles. This part of your post 16145 (I think), which I am copying below, can you please clarify. I have in bold and underlined. Thanks for ...

Thanks for the reply. It is still confusing as to what TooSlow is trying to say with his statement "Keep track yourself how many time the daily close is below the highest H1 open. Then you will understand" That "Then you will understand" TooSlow can ...

TooSlow Keep track yourself how many time the daily close is below the highest H1 open. Then you will understand Since you have done that and understand, then from your experience what is understanding that you are hinting at ? That can certainly ...

TooSlow Can you please explain what do you mean from the precious count.... and that is the edge. Below is the statement: What we know, from the previous count, is the close is usually below the highest H1 open and above the lowest H1 open. This is ...

I trade e-minis and I find that the stops can be quite wide and figuring out narrower stops from the open. Any suggestions other than the size?

TooSlow, Just wondering. I understand HOLO is based of H1 candle. Is there a reason? I was thinking why not HOLO of 30 min candles? Your opinion will be appreciated. Thx, Sam

TooSlow - Can you please clarify? Say, H1 bar at 9 am est, the lowest open occurred and market runs up without materializing a holo trade. We now have an area of interest ie low of the day and lowest open for a HOLO execution marked with horizontal ...

Got it and that's what I thought. Thanks. Do the highest/lowest opens of the previous day matter even though the high and low of the previous day do (breakout)? Thx.
- sam_777 replied Jun 25, 2018
No. You always only use the Highest H1 Open and the Lowest H1 Open. So, so long as the 12 noon H1 Open is not Higher or Lower than the last Highest or Lowest H1 Open, you still use the earlier one. Got it and that's what I thought. Thanks. Do the ...

In other words, in my example are we looking at the absolute low open (9am H1 open horizontal line) at noon H1 bar or any thereafter for holo trade and not any H1 bar open in between? I think that is what it is. So, we wait until it the 15 min opens ...

"Place a line at the highest H1 open and lowest H1 open for the current day." from the first post. Say, it is noon (est). I understand the lowest or the highest in H1 up to that point in time. Let's say the lowest occurred at 9 am H1 bar and the ...

TooSlow "The lowest open is not necessarily the lowest H1 bar" I have seen charts where (say 60 min Bar X) the lowest open of the day was not the low of the day ie the low of the day happened in some other H1 bar,(say bar Y) however, its open was ...

Hi TooSlow / MichaelG Just came across HOLO concept and thanks. 3 questions: Looking at the chart to the left as we do not know the right. The lowest open is not necessarily the lowest H1 bar. Few bars later. the lowest H1 bar occurred with a higher ...

Clarification — Hi SnarlyJack, For HA Stochastics calculation - is it with typical, close, open,...of HA? I am also assuming the EMA, Stochastics calculation is based of 4H HA and not 4H Candlestick? Another Clarification: London session ...
