Hi Tom, In this scenario, strategy 2 was the better option. Would you enter that trade on the touch of the TL or wait for the bar that touched the TL to close? I ask because if it was on the touch of the TL, then how do you know that the Ambush or ...

Tom, do you have a period over the Dec/Jan holidays where FX liquidity thins out enough to sit out? Also, what is it about the price action of stocks that makes you trade them more frequently than the crosses? Isn't the liquidity of the crosses ...

Hey shanto, maybe I am not reading your trade properly, but this is how I understand it: Entry at 100.25 with stop at 99.50 (75 pip stop), TP at 101.86. Therefore at entry the anticipated Reward (R) = 2.15 (161/75) When price moved to 100.85, the ...

shanto, you should read this link to a post Tom made about "evolving R". Your risk to reward when you were at +60 profit was 5:1, i.e., you were risking 75 pips to get 15, an R of 0.2. Just something to think about when you are that close to your ...

Tom, I see that the $EURJPY short did not have confluence with the ATR, in fact it was quite far away. However, the level was a good level. Will you typically take a rounded retrace trade without the ATR to support it if the level is good? Grant

Thanks Tom, A really good example of putting the whole story together, as opposed to mechanically waiting for the typical rounded retest shape. As a result I missed this one, but won't be so myopic next time. Grant

EJ — That EJ rounded retest is not what I would have thought to be an acceptable shape. It was only two or three bars on H1. I know the space, time, number of bars thingy is subjective, but I always thought there would be more time involved ...

Rob, I understand that trade to be as follows: the 105.52 level is resistance, therefore you want to play a rounded retest when it flips to support. So wait for it to break through that level, and then come back to retest it for the long. the only ...

GBPCAD — This pair is a bit choppy, and the levels are not as clean as I would like them. Also the previous area of support (for me) is not enough of a swing to feel confident in that level. Grant

Thanks Tom, I would rather lose on a good trade, then win on a bad trade. I just need to make sure I can tell them apart.

USDJPY failed long — Wondering if this was a decent trade that just didn't work out, or is this not a strong level? Grant

EURUSD 1.4452 — Tom, that EURUSD trade you took looked like a butt-kiss. I thought you only took the rounded retest in that situation? Was it the strong push up on H1 that made it ok? Grant

S&P and FX — Tom, could you possibly elaborate on the significance/correlations the S&P has to FX. Grant

Sunday webinar — Hey Tom, Just a suggestion for your webinars. I know you don't want to make them available for download, and I fully understand. But for those of us in difficult time zones, and those that couldn't get back in, is it possible ...

AUDUSD offer 1.0789 — Hey Tom, Would you consider the recent AUDUSD highs of 1.0784 as close enough to remove a 1.0789 order? I was thinking that even if price now goes to 1.0789, would it now be considered a third time back, and should not be ...

My 2¢ would be that I think Tom much prefers first time back, as opposed to second and third, etc. Grant
