All those reports are outlandish. I think 150-250 Pips per month is reasonable. This breaks down to about 35-50 per week. Or, for you mathematically challenged, about 7-10 per day

I totally agree with your theory of multiple entries and exits on the same trade. Averaging up when the trade goes your way and scaling down once certain levels are reached. Perfect

Interactive Brokers has a 2 pip spread on GBPJPY. However, they do not add their commissions to the spread so you will pay an extra $2-4 pounds in commission. Definitely the best deal out there if you trade bigger than 1 lot
