That would be a lot easier since you could just have the arrows on screen all the time or set an alarm to them but you say this like the system is up for interpretation. Trading systems are supposed to be rule based and not objectively used by ...

I feel like the stars need to align to get an entry right now... I've been watching this all day and haven't seen it. Maybe I am doing something wrong, here is my understanding after reading the whole thread: (Example for SELL Position) 1. Red Dot ...

Well I think this will be tougher then I thought as I haven't seen any reading material for it. But what it seems like I need to do is write an application on my server which listens for updates to a file and then based on the name of the EA and the ...

Ok so I've been doing as much reading as I can in only a few hours but so far from what I can tell... 1. A ex4 is probably the worst way to give an EA to someone you don't want to re-sell it. 2. A dll is only marginally better. 3. Since both of ...

The reason for protecting the work would not be for selling, it would be to prevent selling. If I develop an EA for someone for free, I don't want them to turn around and start selling it. Ronald, where the ex4 file must talk to a database or ...

Wow the backtest on EUR/USD going 5yrs back ended in a loss... I thought 4 Week Rule is supposed to be some sort of great system proven over 20 years dating back to commodity trading.

So I did this... SL = Ask - (sl * 10 * Point); TP = Ask + (tp * 10 * Point); and vice versa for sell orders, and that worked, yay! But it seems very unreliable depending on the broker someone might use my EA on.

I changed the "4" in the sell order to "Digits" to match up with the buy order, and made that change you suggested. Still got the error though. 2010.01.23 17:37:27 2008.02.01 01:36 EURGBP,M1: Selling Enter Price: 0.74660000 Stop Loss: 0.74705000 ...

Nothing really important, just resets the main loop to start looking for a new trade that meets my rules. void ResetVars() { g_SignalLong = false; g_SignalShort = false; g_ConfirmLong = false; g_ConfirmShort = false; g_LookLong = false; g_LookShort ...

Thank you, that method worked perfectly with some tweaking. double intervals = 500; double section = (WindowPriceMax() - WindowPriceMin()) / intervals; double height = WindowPriceMax() - section; if( ObjectFind( "Day_Separator_Txt" ) < 0 ) { ...

Interesting, however I have used a modified TzPivots (included in the THV system on another forum here) which did something like this. It had a vertical line to separate yesterday and today and a text/label object which moved perpendicular to the ...

For the text object I can easily provide the time so it will move with on the X-Axis, but what for the price? I want the text to stay at 0 on the Y-Axis.
