1. You might want to use NinjaTrader, I found their UI for C# implementation to be very user friendly. Then just link NT to IB. 2. You might want to look for a discount VPS service which might be cheaper than what Amazon has got to offer. 3. Doing ...

I once had this sheet with the leverage they were using, I just can't remember where I found it. But generally between 1-2.

Great to hear you got in this business so young with the right resources. I wish when I was of your age there was a forexfactory and brokers offering demo accounts. I developed an interest for the markets at a young age, at age 16 I opened an ...

First of all, a great call on that. What I found very interesting was that I had my TP set at 5053, but within that same 1 minute candle it suddenly surged up to 5084. First thought was that I should have had to close it as a market order, but on ...

Mike, just wondering why don't you draw the TL from the bottom of the chart such as in the attached screenshot? Some time ago you mentioned something about curve fitting but for me this is the most curve fitted line because of the significant to the ...

Price came as close as 5 pips from my order @ 6620 before it dropped like a stone It's quite a good D1 level. Lately I have missed a bunch of trades because I didn't have pending orders in. I prefer to watch whether price is accelerating into ...

The BOJ is intervening right now. Tom, you mentioned in the thread that you did some study on interventions. Can you share the important findings on that subject? And do you pull back orders for the jpy pairs during/after an intervention or leave ...

I wanted to sell at 4437, but didn't pull the trigger as I wanted to see a stronger acceleration into that level.

You killed that trade Pat, very well done

What do you think of this one Mike? Would the lows which it's trading into be of concern? In the eur/jpy it was a similar case.

Hey Adi, one of the things which jumps out to me is the chop at the hourly tf. The huge amount of choppiness doesn't convince me that this is a "healthy pair" at the moment which I would be comfortable to trade. But that's just me

I think it would have been a higher quality setup if it acted more than once as resistance.

Sure if you want to spend your precious time and energy in arguing with others for a laugh, go ahead. I do not see what benefit a person has from such a golden nugget if that person has already decided that technical analysis or price action falls ...

1. Arguing with others or trying to prove someone else wrong isn't going to make me money. 2. Trying to get to know whether other people understand the price action patterns they trade will not make me money either. Therefore I do not engage in such ...

Put Windows 7 through the free VMware on your Mac and then MT4. IMO the best charting application even if you are using another platform to trade. I'm on IB TWS which works on Mac's too but still use MT4 for charting.
