Just a heads up — Those of you who might be interested in trading gold, there's a good opportunity in play at the moment. Gold is under pressure from the strengthening dollar and due for a major correction here. Just broke a key support. ...

1.5595 is the 61.80% fib of previous move up so that's possibly we are seeing some buying there. Could still break it though, I'd rather not speculate, that's why I'm on the side lines. Cables been up and down for 4 days now, beginning to annoy me. ...

Long? — Opportunity to go long from 1.5608, based on 50% fibs of previous move up, and the fact that we saw some previous resistance there earlier. I'm not taking it though, deciding to stay out for now. Took a position there on the previous ...

Long — Long from 1.5657 but keeping a close eye on this. Not liking the PA at the moment. Target is 1.5800 but I'll need to see some stronger buying here.

Nice trade bro. I closed my longs at 1.5738. That DX support level scared me Will enter another long again at 1.5655

Nice chart. Its putting a lot of pressure on 79.700 but so far she is holding. If it does we could see a nice pop in gold also but I dont think we will break it, not now anyway. She wont give way that easily, we've had a huge move down ...

Cover your shorts — DX has reached a key support level, we may see cable come down a bit now if that level holds.

Holding onto longs — EUR/ USD, up, DX down...wonder whats still keeping cable down. She should be popping up now.
- Touchdown replied Feb 8, 2010
Also the DX is currently in a downward channel but has just reached the top of this channel so I expect to DX to start coming down now which will be cable's cue for the pop up IMHO.

Heavy buying at the 1.5533-1.5555 area, bearish divergence on the 30M, and a new daily high on previous move up. Sorry I cant post a chart.

Still Long — Stopped out for BE, looking to enter long again at 1.5584. Still convinced 1.5533 was the bottom of this leg and the retrace has begun. I did expect some heavier buying at the 1.5602 level but stochastics are only showing oversold ...

Where do you see the big boys shorting? DX is still down for the day so I'm still strongly favoring a retrace now. If we break 1.5625 now we could get a nice pop up IMHO. SL at BE anyway so my trade is safe.

Long — Long from 1.5606, SL at BE. We are right on the 50 EMA on the 30M, could go either way now. TP 1.5795 if we manage to break through 1.5625

Lets see — Just wanted to share my analysis here... Short Term: BULLISH, retrace of this second leg down we are having to around 1.5812 - 1.5832 (looking for break of 1.5650 as confirmation of this) Long Term: BEARISH, third leg down from ...

? — More jobs lost than expected, but unemployment rate drops due to discouraged workers and thats good news?? I don't get it. Theres nothing good about this report.

Not sure but GBP/EUR is flying so definitely holding up due to GBP strength. Suspect GBP strength might be due to a positive NIESR report showing the unofficial estimate of December UK GDP. Looks like 1.6250 is holding as support for now, staying ...

Me too but thinking of jumping ship, bulls look too strong today. Need a close below 1.6268 on the 15 min very soon or else I'm out.

LOL, well that explains it! Well I understand its a retracement, im not disputing that a retracement was not due, infact I expected it at that price. To move 250 pips though as much as fast as it did and on low volume on a day where the dollar ...

Whats the deal? — I like how every fx website I visit says the GBP rocketed against YEN, USD, etc, but none of them say why!? Still trying to find out whats behind this outlandish move on whats supposed to be a quiet day. Anyone manage to ...

Short — Shorted at 1.6060, stopped out for 35 pips. Back in again at 1.6082. GBP/EUR starting to pull back also. I'm hoping we get a good retrace on this mad move
