It usually is a default setting on most platforms like MT or TV. Most indicators has an option to choose price field, but with HMA it makes little sense, close works best.

Yes, probably so. Nice and smooth moves. I however can't see 54 entries here. Perhaps tes724 has made a lot of re-entries on the 5m TF. Anyway, December was indeed a goldmine on the index futures.

Interesting. Something called CHINA5 is responsible for ~80% of the profit, while the performance of forex pairs is mediocre, especially the disastrous AUDNZD. I assume CHINA5 is a kind of index or ETF, right? I can't find it, maybe you could locate ...

You know, I've been looking at the trades cybercoder's ea made, and from what I see there's actually no other hidden criteria. The trick is to place pending orders instead of market orders. In fact, it's the only correct way to trade engulfing bars ...

I've seen it of course. If you'll take a look at the report, you'll see EngulfEAv2.ex4 is a completely different beast. It places buy stop and sell stop orders rather than market orders. Obviously there's something else. There's no indication to the ...

MFI uses volumes, but there are no such thing as true volumes in the forex. ADX is way too slow today. I'd suggest QQE. Red bars mark loss trades. image Hey timidave, from what I can see the EA uses the current TF, it's not bound to the 4H.
- SkippyTheCan replied Nov 8, 2019
So the 1H yielded better results, interesting. Actually, it's not surprising because the 4H is highly broker-dependent. The win\loss ratio is also promising, but look at the disparity between short and long wins - 71% vs 47%. Obviously some kind of ...

No, HMA does not repaint. What you see here is the display issue inherent to many color-coded line indicators on MT4. There is a solution, I won't dive into unnecessary tech details, instead I suggest to use Mladen Rakic's wonderful universal ...

It's TMA. It repaints last bars though.

Hey folks, been following this thread for some time and doing some tests. Here's what I found. 1. The engulfing bar pattern in its unadulterated form was originally developed for stock market. What it entails is the rule where the engulfing candle ...
