There is a D-level on H1 around at 2606
- Fantaburk replied May 3, 2024
Yeah the M15 Bear div with a 2bar test from h4 D-level was perhaps a good one to take. But price still couldn't manage to roll the ema over until it was exhausted after the news. Easy in hindsight huh

LO opened in a RSI/RSI bull divergence with both m5 and m15 in bull divs. This indicated the bear div you point out will fail to reach ema, thus bears will fail to take out m5 ema swing level on the downside. Hence should continue upwards. I am noot ...

Looks like it simply was grinding for h4 D-level

And how many BE's have you endured?
- Fantaburk replied Nov 13, 2023
And here you have in in Real time. Now looking for a double top with bear div on m5 to trade would be good.

The AB=CD is a 50% retracement of a move, followed by an expected measured extention. A to B is the first move. Followed by a pullback to the C-level (which should be 50% or in the region). You then get the D-level by putting the measured move of A ...

No ABCD but perhaps a near perfect, Giant AB=CD indicative of direction towards wide open space for a few hundred pips. Or perhaps not, guess we'll find out in due time.

Marinating over night, would this bias be so bad though? I guess we always have bias trading, with the trend, or towards the ema, etc etc. Being right 75% of the time, with proper money management would make you pretty good money. If the stats are ...

Hi! Do you have any overview of how the stats look in terms of how often D or D1 is hit depending on which side of the ema the C-level forms? As in if C-level is formed below ema price hits D1 first about 75% of the time

Hi Mysterio. Interesting stuff! I am intrigued of your zones of possible entries, altough looking to use a different confirmation approach. Quick question, do you ever use a previous level that has been taken out as a point of joining in on the ...

I am sure Alan would say the hints of good dollar news was right there in the charts prior. H1 bouncing of bear support, which coincided with 50% of the latest ABCD-target. In a bearish RSI/RSI-div with a 2bar test. Kinda bearish signs. It has just ...

Great answer, I think I get the jist of it. To clearify, basically follow the m5 trend towards an h1 target. Not trying to change the m5 trend until the target is reached. The part of trusting the concept is key I reckon.

No I don't look to the daily chart much. Could take forever until any signals plays out, and wicks against could more than well pay the day.
- Fantaburk replied Sep 7, 2022
This gets me a little confused, since we were trading below the ema on the hour chart. Shouldn't I then look for reasons to keep it there then since we should take inference from the higher timeframe? All in well meaning of course, simply trying to ...

Yes in hindsight it is clear as day. But if there are the bear divs on h1 and bear divs on m5 that I want to trade short, shouldn't I expect m5 ema to be broken? Where you closed, I traded short. And then again on the next div with the 2bar test. ...

Hi Alan. I am interested in how you handle the conflicting signals of bear divs in this upmove? Felt there was plenty of bear signals on the hour chart to look for shorts.

Rather hefty indeed.

Oh yeah, no I mean when I enter a hedge I never feel confident to close one side to bag the profits. Hedging is still lacking in my arsenal and I wonder how you use to play it in different scenarios.
- Fantaburk replied Jun 20, 2022
Hi Alan. I wonder how you would play this hedge when TP is right about made. There was more to collect on the bounce, but I always have a hard time to decide when to close out the original trade and move to BE. Thanks again for having me trade in ...
