Yes, probably not too much action of AUD pairs today. However, momentum suggests upside probability to be higher. I'm going to build a position from .9400 to .9350.

Tiyaga, good to see you again on this thread. Haha. Try positioning yourself with a stop loss above 1.6190 and wait for a potential downside move. This maybe a stop larger than most traders on this forum would put, but it's what fund traders do: ...

Tiyaga, Your entry may be a little off and let me explain why. If you recently entered shorting GBPJPY, your're entry is probably around 158.15 to 158.10. There is potential support at 158.00 (round number for traders) and could be a bounce back to ...

My entries are usually right before the close of the NY session or right after the close of NY session, but I waited a bit too long for entry on this trade. You are correct, it did not close "strongly" above open or high of the 9/20 candle. I like ...

LOL. I spent a few years of torture on 2 trading desks and a decade+ researching on my own. I knew the goal is to find the edge and manage my risk. I think I've earned the unfairness... It wasn't easy, and it's still not easy even if I have an ...

Simply put, data mining is collecting data from sources you specify and looking at them as a pattern for analysis. The problem I have with traditional technical analysis is that it is lagging. Data mining is not the holy grail, but I find it more ...

Good point pips. Sorry for not sharing my charts. I don't use the traditional technical indicators, since I'm a data miner. I do use candlesticks as a confirmation tool so here it is. I marked an arrow of where I entered, and the reason for my entry ...

I agree with SpartanTrade. This is a forum, not a dictatorship. Everyone here has a right to an opinion on the markets, whether they are right or wrong. I've been trading for over a decade and the best traders I know are the ones who make a decision ...
