For anybody interested in following Steven Patterson, I know this is old-hat, but there's a tongue-in-cheek website showing some of the trades he took whilst mismanaging the CompassFX client fund. For obvious reasons the client's details were ...

Not wishing to add salt to the wound, but who suggested you trade without a Stop/Loss? So, you lost €3500 on a trade, bad luck. Take a walk, and when you have calmed down, sit quitely and decide how you intend to recoup your loss.

@SoulFX - apologies if my comments appeared barbed. I think Comparse and their gurus have all been given enough rope, and have shown just how good they are not. I understand that there are those who'd prefer a riskier investment - but when you look ...

6 months straight of losses translates to somebody who cannot adapt. What sort of garbage is that?! Patterson's stratagem was to gamble. He is such a gambler that he even charged punters a fee to learn how to play poker, which is what he does when ...

Patterson had failed. The 28 years market veteran, Steven Patterson, has blown >60% of client's funds since November. The attached is merely the best example of how a newbie trades.

Priceless comment, and right to the point.

I'm not sure what happened to your Mr Patterson and his wonderful trading. Recently he's been taking over 35 trades a day, and hasn't had a profitable month in the last six. He's fallen into the trap of a novice trader, losing big and winning small. ...

So, Mauro sinks to new lows - he's obviously flogged off the member list as people get wise to the DMR scam: We received your request for information from BTMM (www.BeatTheMarketMaker.com) & ZombrexTrading.com. Before we begin sending you the ...

I rather you learn from an ex-institutional trader sharing his live trades here on FF, url Who ever you decide is The Guru, believe NOTHING until you see PROOF that the potential leader is consistently profitable. By proof, ask to see a trade ...

If the screenshot is of the latest and greatest, and it isn't SM~, perhaps it's the proof of the pudding, and the final nail in SM~'s coffin-lid? They've moved on, AGAIN! There was a new Compass "guru" called Sonny, who "lives on an island in the ...

MMaker, There's one word you can take out of SM~'s letter to Dear DMR Subscriber (so many subscribers that he cannot "personalise it??!), that speaks volumes about him.. The first word of the fourth line.. ARSE!

Seems like a sensible idea. Your 3rd EU chart shows a particularly good trade short on 24 May. Previous HOW was not taken out, and on the M15 chart, a lovely double top, an easy 50 pips.

Sorry DJM, your half a batman is nothing like what it ought to be. You need a strong move in one direction, followed by a quick retrace to a level of consolidation. Then look out for an entry in the opposite direction to the original move. Maybe ...

It's not often I'll say anything positive about SM~, however on the rare occasion a half-Batman appears, it seems to work well.

I recall more than 90... You are not the only one to think along these lines. You will find some guys who claim to be successful with SM~'s way of doing things, but none will show you their trade book, or anything similar (myfxbook.com etc.). SM~ ...

How many of the countries in Europe, that were amalgamated during the twentieth century, are still joined in those unions? Yugoslavia? No, that was dismantled into Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Montenegro, Slovenia, and Serbia. ...

"We'll loan you some cash, but unfairly tax your savers, too.." As if the eurocrats could come up with anything more likely to bring the banking industry to its knees. Why would anybody want to leave money with a bank that would, at the behest of a ...

I saw the huge GU spike and expected a retrace from there. My S/L was 5 below the LOD, the entry, and TP are clear to see.
