You have to read the thread a lil' bit more. Usual Tony's trade uses risking 2 pips to get 140 pips. So RR ratio is smth about 1:50 at least. The trade you're discussing (with 4:2 RR ratio) is out of the system.

It's definitely bad to see lack of activity at this time. There were days when guys here posted 10 pages per day. Where are this days? Tony, are you still in? Wanna see you disco picture.

NY open is 30 min prior to NFP release. So you could get in a train wishing that volatility would go in your way.

10 minutes left for LO open. Ready? Steady? Go!

I just prefer not to post a lot of charts with TF different from original. No need in new thread 'coz main idea remains the same, IMHO. Fast (opening), tight (stop), big (profits). Smth like that.

This is the way I'm testing the system at the moment. I don't have (and don't want to) Oanda account, so MT4 with 1min TF is the best I have. I've posted some charts last week, when price really flew away just from the open moment. This week is not ...

Arrrgh! Both EUR and GBP on both London and NY opens had no momentum at all! WTF?
- Dael replied Jul 26, 2010
A lil bit choppy today, made a few pips on going down with EUR. Waiting for NY.

EUR and GBP both worked out nice tomorrow. See charts (9.00 line is London open). I guess there's a reason to use not so tight stop...

True, couldn't notice at first time. No ideas in that case. You have two options - ask for help in FlexiChart thread or open demo account in Oanda.
- Dael replied Jul 20, 2010
FlexiChart is grayed because there's no source code (.mq4 file), it's OK. Throw it on the chart, make just one setup - CandleTimeFrame=0:00:05. That's all.

If you see this in top left corner, then it's OK. Go to File > Open offline, find the '6EU0, M8' and click Open.

FlexiChart works well on my MT4. Check for appropriate files in folders (experts > FlexiChart.ex4; expert > libraries > IO_Utils.ex4+OffLine.ex4), check for Expert Advisor enabled.

And what's its history depth?
- Dael replied Jul 20, 2010
Any backtesting results are not valid for this EA. charvo says it uses realtime 5 sec info to determine direction. In backtesting there're no 5 sec charts.
- Dael replied Jul 19, 2010
Most of traders here use O***A. It's the only broker with 5 sec charts (with no Ninja needed) and narrow spreads.

Wait 1.5 hours for NY open.

1. Due to extremely high RR ratio it's better to lower risk with 1% of account. Profit remains huge anyway. 2. I guess it's better to use partial close. Close half of you position on half of you TP (on +60 pips if TP=120) - as example. You may ...
