I mentioned constant range bars in a previous post to reduce noise. Attached is a 30 pip range bar chart where each bar equals 30 pips. And also a 10 pip range chart. Trend magic looks good, but I had forgotten when I mentioned this option that the ...

Here's my current setup and a trade example. Scalping M1 retracements on an M15 chart. Top two rows changed to M15, bottom two both M1. This will avoid any repainting scenarios.

Here's a pic. If this image is too big, I'll delete after you view it.

The box I posted above will place a box at the start of each day, which is too many for this method. You could take an H4 chart and do what Palmer did above, then highlight the weekly lines like this pic. And then place the box on, switch to H1, and ...

Nice job, SM. Why are my trend rankings so far to the right?

Chop is the constant back and forth, tightly ranging like in the attached. HAS looks nice when the market trends, but eats all profits in times like this. This is eurusd M1. Or do you have some new settings to try?

You're saying take a new trade every day instead of going signal to signal? So in this pic, at the first up arrow you'd start your daily trades. And each day take a new trade since you're still in the correct direction. And for those 3 red candles ...

I thought that was where I saw it, but I'll look again. Is this pic normal? It entered a long trade at the recent bar, but the tp is all the way up passed the upper yellow line. I thought it would end up with tp closer to median white line. TP in ...

So in this situation, you would have entered short at the 38.2 with a 348 pip sl?

Ouch -- running v10 since it was posted about 7 hours ago. 5 digit broker, so that's -287.

Did you trade through this chop this morning?
- BenQ replied Dec 24, 2008
Yes, I see it's how it's made. But your opening post just calls for long on green, short on red. There's a lot of chop with that. On first glance, just adding something like a smoothed jurik can filter. But my broker is closed now, so really can't ...

Yes, I trade live and completely automated. Attached are this week's results. If I've got 900 posts, I'm sure you can search them if you're interested. I guess my issues with your thread is that the method has been done to death, and I was probing ...

cjd, so you're doing it like the attached -- just waiting for all agreed? I tried that last week a bit, but sometimes it's hard to quickly see which ones are in agreement. One MTF indi would be nice.

MrPip, I'm seeing a significant difference in the new BuySellBasket you just posted. The one on the bottom is the new v2. It looks completely different from the previous one. TF, lookback are pairs are identical in both.

Now that we have the new indi with offsets, I've been playing with Pipo's idea of looking at strength in lower TF's to better time the entry. There's almost too much info to look at this quickly and make a decision. Pipo, are you still looking at ...

Mr Pip, Can you take the indi you've been moding and take it to another level where it would show on the chart which pairs to buy and which to sell? Attached is a pic of trendchaser's EA from the 101 thread. Something like this would be extremely ...

lcfxtrader, I've tried to do something similar with mladen's heatmap, but I like your application as it's easier visually to see the basket. I've read T101's thread but never saw your indi. Have you posted it anywhere yet?

Interesting work. So in the attached pic, the most recent bar has a score of 13? I think I'm confused on how you're scoring, because the color examples you give in post #1 do not match up with the colors I'm seeing here, so I think I'm doing it ...

T101, Does the profilt calc change from long to short when the red is over white, as in this pic? If yes, was there a reason not to go long for that small period in the middle? If you did go long there, did you simply reverse the basket when the ...
