I fully agree with this. It's the only major pair where I trade half the lot size I normally trade (JPY pairs I trade a quarter the normal size) just for risk management. Pair seems to love overextending.

CAD forecast is negative for Friday, although- I've noticed that the craziest negative forecast in the world suddenly turns positive when the market is overstretched. Almost as if the numbers are manipulated. I'm assuming the same will likely happen ...

Stopped trading USDJPY 2 months ago, but I still trade CJ, NJ and AJ because they seem to retrace like normal pairs. I personally trade at 1/2 or 1/3 of usual lot sizes with JPY pairs to not have drawdown issues. The second a trader starts worrying ...

Every few pages in this thread there's someone that pops up with retarded questions, and has obviously not done their homework. I actually respect your patience, Davit. If it were me I'd ban them without an explanation, they don't deserve your time.

Also still in a CADJPY short for the last few days. Was overextended and again, corrections / retracements are natural. Made an early entry which went in to drawdown but that's never a problem. I'm running small sizes to manage risk - the reward ...

Thank you Toshio, looks pinpoint accurate too. Going to be useful when I'm out and on my phone to look at charts etc. (Previously I'd manually note down pivot points on my phone but this'll save me a lot of time, I appreciate this shout )

Definitely a good idea, there's a book that goes into this stuff. Naked charts + Sup/Res on higher time frames and candlestick patterns for reversals. Mixed this with Davits Pivots and never looked back. Attached the book for anyone that wants it. ...

Currently in a few trades, including GU drawdown (which is ok, market must correct itself soon enough). Once one becomes aware of basic price movement, large moves against trade are nothing to be worried about. CADJPY entry was because of price ...
