Cell phones and blood plasma were the two fastest-growing top 20 U.S. imports over the last 15 years. Easily lost in that 573% and 1,242% growth, respectively, is the compelling story behind those numbers: What it says about you and me, how we live our lives, and the price we put on health insurance in a highly charged political climate.
