German investor sentiment rises on trade developments, ZEW reports
The mood among German investors improved more than expected in November, a ZEW survey showed on Tuesday, with the research group pointing to a more favorable outlook for Europe’s biggest economy after recent developments in trade conflicts. ZEW said its monthly survey showed economic sentiment among investors jumped to -2.1 from -22.8 in October. Economists polled by Reuters had expected an improvement to -13.0. A separate gauge measuring investor assessments of the economy’s current conditions edged up to -24.7 from -25.3 in the previous month.
