Fed's Bostic says economy solid, future policy should be data dependent
Atlanta Federal Reserve Bank President Raphael Bostic said on Thursday the U.S. economy is “solid” and the central bank should hold interest rates stable and review economic data before making further policy adjustments. Bostic said there are some signs the U.S. labor market may be a “bit beyond full employment” as he shared stories of employers struggling to find workers, in remarks prepared for delivery at an event organized by the Money Marketeers of New York University.
