Business sentiment among workers with jobs sensitive to economic trends in May marked its lowest level in roughly three years on uncertain outlook for the global economy amid prolonged U.S.-China trade tensions, government data showed Monday.The diffusion index of confidence among "economy watchers," including taxi drivers and restaurant employees, dropped 1.2 points from April to 44.1, its lowest level since June 2016, according to a survey by the Cabinet Office.
