The Australian dollar weakened against most major currencies in the early European session on Thursday. The Australian dollar fell to 9-month lows of 1.5075 against the euro and 1.0584 against the NZ dollar, from early highs of 1.4908 and 1.0696, respectively. Against the US dollar, the aussie fell to a 2-day low of 0.8247 from an early high of 0.8374. The aussie edged down to 0.9469 against the Canadian dollar from an early high of 0.9597. If the aussie extends its downtrend, it is likely to find support around 1.51 against the euro, 1.055 against the kiwi, 0.81 against the greenback and 0.945 against the loonie. (full story)
