Euro area international trade in goods surplus €23.0 bn
The first estimate for euro area exports of goods to the rest of the world in June 2023 was €252.3 billion, an increase of 0.3% compared with June 2022 (€251.5 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at €229.3 bn, a fall of 17.7% compared with June 2022 (€278.5 bn). As a result, the euro area recorded a €23 bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in June 2023, compared with a deficit of €27.1 bn in June 2022.
