In July 2023, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) increased by 0.1% over one month, after +0.2% in June. The prices of food slowed down (+0.1% after +0.3%), while those of services accelerated (+1.5% after +0.2%), notably those of transports (+11.0% after +1.6%) and “other services” (+1.4% after +0.4%). Contrariwise, the prices of manufactured goods decreased (‑2.3%, after +0.1% in June), notably those of clothing and footwear (‑10.9% after +0.3%), due to the summer sales.
