Registered unemployment in August 2022 - According to surveys by the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO), 91,372 unemployed were registered with the regional employment centers (RAV) at the end of August 2022, 102 fewer than in the previous month. The unemployment rate remained at 2.0% in the month under review. Compared to the same month last year, unemployment fell by 34,983 people (-27.7%). Youth unemployment in August 2022 Youth unemployment (15 to 24 year olds) increased by 1,672 people (+20.7%) to 9,761.
