UK trade: March 2022
Total imports of goods, excluding precious metals, increased by £4.4 billion (9.3%) in March 2022, because of a £2.4 billion (9.9%) rise in imports from non-EU countries while imports from EU countries rose by £2.0 billion (8.6%). Total exports of goods, excluding precious metals, increased by £0.6 billion (2.1%) in March 2022, driven by a £0.4 billion (2.6%) increase in exports to non-EU countries while exports to EU countries increased by £0.3 billion (1.7%).
