Bundesbank projections: upswing is shifting somewhat
The German economy suffers a setback in the winter half of the year due to the pandemic, but will pick up speed again in spring 2022. " The upswing is something shifts in time after back-th ," said Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann at the current projections of his institution. Due to the dip in growth, the gross domestic product is forecast to rise by 2.5 percent this year, which is less than expected in June.
