Euro area international trade in goods surplus €22.5 bn
The first estimate for euro area (EA19) exports of goods to the rest of the world in June 2018 was €198.6 billion, an increase of 5.7% compared with June 2017 (€187.9 bn). Imports from the rest of the world stood at €176.1 bn, a rise of 8.6% compared with June 2017 (€162.2 bn). As a result, the euro area recorded a €22.5 bn surplus in trade in goods with the rest of the world in June 2018, compared with +€25.7 bn in June 2017.
