New Zealand Credit Card Spending Rebounds In February
Total credit card spending in New Zealand increased in February after falling in the previous month, data from the Reserve Bank of New Zealand showed Wednesday. Credit card spending rose 0.7 percent month-over-month in February, reversing a 0.6 percent fall in January. Domestic billings also climbed 0.7 percent over the month to NZ$3.02 billion and overseas billings grew by 0.9 percent. On an annual basis, credit card spending growth quickened to 7.0 percent in February from 4.6 percent in the prior month.
