Euro area monthly balance of payments (September 2017)
In September 2017 the current account of the euro area recorded a surplus of €37.8 billion.[1] In the financial account, combined direct and portfolio investment recorded net acquisitions of assets of €52 billion and net disposals of liabilities of €6 billion. The current account of the euro area recorded a surplus of €37.8 billion in September 2017 (see Table 1).
