ECB's Villeroy: Inflation should be back at around 2% in 2024
So far, he is being consistent with his remarks on policy outlook so that isn't anything new. He is mainly speaking in his capacity as Bank of France governor, saying that the French economy has held up as of late despite "very high" inflation pressures. The French central bank forecasts a growth of 0.2% q/q in Q2 after a flat showing in Q1.
