I don't want to clutter the thread with this talk, since its a bit off topic. But I do have a suggestion. If the simultaneous running of MPTM doesn't work, then you could load an application that allows you to control your PC remotely. When you lose your remote connection, that probably means that PC1 has lost its internet connection. So you put on the MPTM on PC2.

This is a cumbersome solution, but I think it could be done.
