Traded my first stock in '84, it tripled in 3 weeks. Bought my second stock a few weeks later and it went bankrupt whithin a month. Luckily I managed a little bit of a profit. But what realy hurt was when I looked to see what Texas International (the first stock I bought that tripled in 3 weeks ) was doing 9 months later. It was up around $27. I bought it around $3 and sold it at $10, 3 Grand investment. That hurt more than the 5 Grand I lost on my second trade.
