- Biography:
- I'm 27 years old and I have been following the forex market for about 10 years. During that time I have tested many different trading systems and most of them failed. I wasted a lot of time on strategies where only technical analysis was used but I have realized that to be profitable it is very important to also look at the fundamental factors affecting exchange rates. I look at fundamental factors like interest rates, inflation, GDP and the current account and try to get an idea about in which direction a currency pair will move in the next few months. I don't think that technical analysis has much predictive value but when I have chosen a direction based on fundamental factors I use technical analysis to identify low risk high reward opportunities in that direction
