I show hre my mt4 chart, 20 pips, the aqua area, exclude spread was no problem, only the news (german IFO) but my mentor tell me "the chart know the news"

I have been following this thread for a while now.you have a very interesting system here.i have been trading for over 2 yrs now.but im still not successful coz i really dont know what im doing.i jumped to every thread possible in forexfactory....


i just cant control my mind..i need a mentor i will pay if you want.i did send you a PM but no reply.please help me im not rich but i can pay you whatever i have..its hard to see humans like you.please dont say no..plz teach us.plz

hey i am actively engaged in this thread and i do appreciate your advises! but i can understand the frustration of sharing and no feedback or comments.. but thats the problem of mankind i fear... greed and disrespect on too many levels.. i still have faith tho

georgecv87, patience is the motto here.. that you jump from thread to thread explains why you are not successful.. forex is not a place to get rich in 1 week.. choose a pair and a strategy which seems to suit you.. and then STICK TO IT.. you need to learn to understand the market (at least that is what wise people say) try to be calm and analyse why your actions did not work out the way you assumed.. in 90% of the cases there is explanation.. the other 10% is just the magic of the market you cant control... thats where money and risk managment comes into account. My humble advise to you.. read, read, read, try, try, try successful trading doesnt require you to be a genius...

well, i am certainly interested. i have been following your thread since the beginning. i came from the TMS thread, like so many of us did. but your concept seemed to match my style more. it's all the other gems that you know that are very valuable to us. i hope you find it in your heart to continue on with these insights. i for one, devour every one of your posts. let me thank you now for all that you have freely given......vince

Just want to let you know, many of us are still here. There will always be those that move on, as it may not suit their profile. I would be the first to admit that, having looked at several threads before this.
The main attraction of this system is the short TF, which in my opinion is more suited to small accounts. There is very little margin for error and it is essential to have trades quickly move in our direction.
Have done the reading on S&R and S&D and in the next post will put a question about that previous GU trade.

I as many others read the whole thread, subscribed and follow it religiously.
I will try to participate more actively and post most charts for discussion. I believe there were 3 setups on E/U and G/U combined yesterday. I will post charts and my (noobish) analysis later today. (im at work now).

I would also like to go back to the counter-trend setups that occurred earlier this week and specify the rules.

S&D and dun't much about but I will so some reading over the weekend and I'm eager to hear your thoughts.

Appreciate your willingness to share and the effort you put to this thread.

Guys don't read the thread post your chart, analysis and thoughts.

Ok,its not easy to label the chart in Paint , so below is list, as I see it, of the Supply/Demand zones.
From the top:
Red - Long Term Supply from 4Hr
Purple- Recent Supply or Resistance level
Blue - Recent Demand or Support below RN.
Green- Previous Supply from 4H.
(It has now changed to Support as Demand has pushed price above)
So, to answer your question in post # 947, it appears the price was pushed up by Demand expecting the uptrend to continue, but then supply came in pushed lower. Or, was it taking out entry orders of longs? Still not sure.
Other views also welcome.

I have been trading for the last few years in stock market but not going anywhere. Recently changed to forex trading (about 2 years ago) and the result is still miserable. Thought off giving up trading. But I pumped into your thread about 3 weeks ago and have been following every posting. I found it very interesting and very educational. It’s simple strategy and small time frame fit very well into my trading personality. I had done lots of back testing and it is proven and excellent. Very soon I will start trading again using your simple strategy. I had burst my account and have to fund again.

Ok guys, as promised I would like to contribute with charts and my (noobish) analysis of trade signals according to Lovee's 1.setup rules, that occurred past Friday. I only look at E/U and G/U as I don't have much time at work and these are the two most volatile pairs and are recommended by Lovee himself.

Friday's market on these pairs had a nice uptrend mood and many opportunity have presented themselves. A patient trader could have made 60easy pips on 20pips SL.

E/U
I will be taking the signals chronologically as they appear on the charts attached.
1st signal
At LO I was watching the chart closely and was expecting a reversal that occurred right at the second candle. Took the trade for 20pips with a 1:1 risk ratio. Now the cross of green and red TDI line happened below yellow which I initially thought is against rules. Lovee later ensured me that this is still considered on the yellow line and is perfectly fine TDI signal.
2nd signal
Guys on this signal. Would this candle patter be considered bullish engulfing ? I would have probably taken this trade but I was busy with work at that time.
3rd signal
I saw this signal a bit too late (on the 3rd white candle) and it was already too close to my resistance line from 4hour chart plus the candles were not so convincing. Nevertheless this trade should have been taken.

G/U
1st signal
Price broke above the strong resistance line at the LO all the rules met, school book setup.
2nd signal
This false signal almost caught me, the only reason why I didn't take it is the formation of candles. Do you guys see any other reason why would you not take this signal?

Any input is welcomed. Let me know if you want me to do this more often often or it's too obvious and hence a waste of time.
I plan to incorporate Lovee's 2nd and 3rd setup trades once we have the rules clearly defined and I get a hold of them.

Once again big thanks to Lovee for his method and willingness to share his insights.

At the very least your contribution will help memorise the rules, but also nice to compare notes.
I am curious about your reason for avoiding the GU fake.
Was it because the Signal (Red) line was sloping down?
Also interested any additional entry conditions you might have.
Is that the THV Coral on your chart? How do you use it with these rules?

Hey Eaglepip !

I think I'll focus on analysis of fake signals from now on primarily.

I use the additional EMA on 1h time frame, its a color changing EMA. Im trying to tune this strategy to 1h time frame where I replace the 200EMA and use something faster to identify the trend right away. This time frame allows me to work my job related tasks around trading with more ease. However, it might be just the lack of experience cos I think Lovee previously mentioned that he doesn't watch the progression of the trade after he places an order.

Anyway, I didn't take any trade on 1h chart last Friday as I didn't see any valid setup. And it seems like Fridays market movement traditionally favor lower time frames.


The 2nd GU signal
This particular trade I didn't find the formation of candles convincing enough and it appeared to me that buyers in London are already exhausted but as I said before I wasn't sure and almost took it. I would he interested to hear though process some of the more experiences traders around here. What do you think?

By the way guys. I was wondering if you use any indicators with sounds signals to alarm you before candle closes or TDI with sound signal on crosses ? I tend to miss setups while multitasking at work.

As Lovee1 says, the higher time frame is important for the bigger picture. So, good that you have a system working with the 1H.
My focus is early entry and avoiding whipsaws. I only have the minimum broker allowed amount in my account, so cannot sustain any drawdown. I am experimenting with entries, based on Rsi deviation from the Signal line.

Hi, you can find it on the first page. In the TDI set the 2nd color as yellow, everything else is default.

Ye, I watch 1h closely not just for potential entry but also to aware of its direction thus I don't trade against it.

I'm gonna do the same you're doing, deposit the minimum allowed amount and only trade 0.01 micro lots once I have at least 30 trades on winning ration at least 80% under my belt.

thank you all for the kind words...i will continue posting and telling you what i know.what i have learnt in the last few years.

I will post few screen shorts of how i look at the HTFs.i have been busy latetly with some property issue.will be on from monday.Do a thorough backtesting.screen time is all you need folks.its like graduating for 3 years..give forex the same time.do not rush things..i see lot of new people in this thread.much appreciated
