I have been following Darwinex.com quite closely past six months and it looks interesting and promising way for a good trader to attract fresh capital from outside investors. Compared to more traditional proprietary trading companies there is a few downsides.
-The payout ratio from profits made is quite low (only 20%).
-They pay traders share of profit out quarterly, not monthly.
-It seems that they have not been able to attract new money form investors for a while.
Now I am interested to hear any comments form traders who are trading with proprietary trading firms. What do you like them and what not. Also comments from any traders with Darwinex are welcome. What interest me mostly is that is it really possible to make a living with any proprietary trading firm assuming that you have a steady and good track record.
Comments please!
